landsharing: for the common good

Landshare is an idea and effort initiated by Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall of River Cottage fame and is based on the simple principle of matching people who want to grow things to people who have idle or excess land to grow something on. Fitting neatly into the new world mantra of Reduce, Reuse, Recycle under the newest category – Redistribute… The idea of collaborative consumption is gaining momentum and Landshare is a perfect example — allowing an unutilized resource (land) to be put back into effective use. And the really excellent news about Landshare is that it is now in Australia (the only other country outside the UK)  - LandshareAustralia!
