Secretly filming a super talented Dad
Youtuber JulianCosmos is really, really proud of his Dad's musical talent (with good reason).
He's so proud of his father, he secretly filmed him wailing like an old Tom Waits demo tape and uploaded it to YouTube. His friend then uploaded it to Reddit and said "let's make him famous without him knowing".
We hope you'll agree, this guy deserves to be recognised for some killer talent.
PS. Julian has since told his Dad about the video and he's pretty pissed

(Video) Slow motion skateboarding
While not the best slow-mo skating we've ever seen (nothing compares to the groundbreaking Lakai / Spike Jonze classic: Fully Flared) it's still pretty rad being able to dissect great tricks at such slow speeds.

Samsung nails Apple fankids with Galaxy S II
Three days ago, my best mate showed me his new Samsung Galaxy S II.
As a diehard Apple fanboy of over a decade, I was incredulous that he still refused to even consider an iPhone. As a self professed 'anti-Apple kinda guy', he just laughed as he showed off a ton of features that made me jealous as hell. We both agreed if Samsung could create an ad based on the insight of US v THEM, they'd probably kill it.
Here is that ad.

Who the heck is Trouble Andrew?
I grew up idolising rock star snowboarder Trevor Andrew (or TRZA, as he later became known) and the whole Analog Clothing team for their riding and for pretty much destroying everything they touched.
Andrew has now transitioned into real life rock star Trouble Andrew, and personally, I can't stop listening to his new record 'Dreams Of A Troubled Man'. It features some serious love from Diplo and Santigold so it's gotta be good, right?
Listen to most of it here or check out some clips below

Dads are the original hipsters
Your dad dated women out of his league before you did and nobody understands how he scored your mom to prove it.
So hipsters, next time you’ve got your arm around someone beautiful who has been PBR-brainwashed into thinking that your dirt stache and emaciated body is the epitome of being attractive, remember this…
With only weeks before I become a digital dad myself, this blog may have even more relevance than usual but all I can say is go enjoy the brilliance here
